Avis de tempête à Wallis et Futuna ( samedi 04 avril )
Depuis la métropole où je me trouve , je viens d'apprendre qu'une dépression tropicale avec avis cyclonique passe à proximité de Wallis et Futuna en ce samedi 04 avril 2009.
Des vents très forts sont prévus, une mer déchainée et une possibilité d'inondations n'est pas exclue.

A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR WALLIS AND FUTUNA WATERS
Situation:
An active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain
remains slow moving in the vicinity of Wallis and Futuna.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for Wallis and Futuna:
Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knots over open
waters. Fresh to strong northwest winds, gusty at times over land.
Further periods of rain, heavy at times and a few squally
thunderstorms.
Rough to very rough seas.
Flooding including sea flooding of low lying areas possible.
Further outlook: Rain continuing.
